If there’s one thing we’re incredibly passionate here at Mesh Direct, it’s making sure the fence signage suits our clients’ needs. We understand that running a business, whether you’re in construction or development, is a costly exercise, and that budgets are often at the forefront of business owners’ minds.

Mesh Direct have worked incredibly hard over the last ten years to source the best materials and inks for the most affordable price tags. We pride ourselves on the options we’re now able to offer our clients, ensuring that no man gets left behind when it comes to premium fence signage.

So what are the best materials and substrates for fence signage? What are the best value-for-money choices on offer for those looking to wrap their construction and development site in high quality fencing?

Let’s take a look in more detail…

1. Printed shade cloth fence signage

One of our most affordable options for mesh fence signage is our printed shade cloth. Printed shade cloth (also commonly referred to as ‘scrim’) is a great practical, budget-friendly alternative to more expensive options.

Created from a permeable substrate, shade cloth is a fantastic advertising tool for your temporary fences in the harsh Australian conditions. Its perforated design allows large wind loads to pass through the material with ease, ensuring that light and low risk loads on the structure it is attached to.

The printing options allow for your business logo, various colour schemes and fonts to enhance visibility and attractiveness, while not breaking the bank.

2. Standard banner mesh

Another affordable fence signage option that might work for you and your business is standard banner mesh. Standard banner mesh has an outstanding print reproduction, higher quality than that of shade cloth as the material isn’t as perforated.

This however does mean that it’s not as suited to high wind areas. Standard banner mesh option still provide excellent structure and print quality. The standard mesh product is available in various lengths and measures at 1.6 metres high, similar to our premium mesh option it is easily malleable and can be cut to size on your site.

3. Corflute signage

So far we’ve covered mesh fence signage, but we haven’t addressed the other types of signage you may need for your fences on your construction or development site.

You may find you’ll need safety signage and/or directional signage, and the best option for this is our corflute signage (also known as corriboard in the industry).

Corflute is both budget-friendly and practical solution to your signage needs. Durability isn’t an issue as corflute signs can be reused time and time again. Often seen in the outside environment being nailed to electricity poles the corriboard signage option is one that is built to withstand the elements.
