There is nothing more important than the smooth running of an event. All the hard work and planning for the big day has to pay off and the key to this is organisation. We have created a range of signage for events and festivals across Australia and we know a thing or two about ensuring everything runs smoothly. Read below for our top tips to avoid chaos ensuing on your big day.

Have a checklist

Efficient and foolproof, having a checklist will help you remain on top of all your tasks. Ensure that you start writing your checklist as early as you can when you start planning the event, and have dates next to everything so that you get through your tasks. There’s no use leaving everything till the last minute, as chaos will well and truly be on your doorstep.

Order your signage well in advance

No event is complete without signage, and here at Mesh Direct, we have a turnaround of 7-10 working days from artwork approval. From event mesh to crowd control barrier covers, we can provide signage for any part of an event. Ordering your signage well in advance will enable you to rest easy and have one less thing to stress over in the lead up to an event. We even have our own in house graphic design team who can reduce your workload by helping with your signage design!

Set calendar reminders for all staff

Setting alerts and reminders for all relevant staff will ensure everyone is on top of their tasks and know when they need to step up their game. Whilst you’re coordinating delivery times and last minute details for an event, you won’t have to worry about telling your staff when they are required to step in, as their phone can do all that for you with an alert.

Divide and conquer

Let’s face it, you can’t do everything on your own for an event. The best way to avoid chaos is to delegate small tasks to your staff so that you can focus on the last minute details that will keep the event running smoothly. When all hands are on deck, amazing things can be achieved.
